FAQ

Do you have any payment plans?​

​

Yes, we have many ways to pay for your course. Here's the different payment options we offer:

 

- Pay in full at time of booking (email after purchase to request payment link).

- Pay Deposit at time of booking and the remaining balance 2 weeks prior to course date.

- Pay Deposit at time of booking and split the remainder with Gocardless (email after purchase to request Gocardless).

- Pay in 3 with PayPal (dependent on PayPal criteria).

- Pay in 4 with ClearPay (dependent on ClearPay criteria).

Please note that VAT will be added to all courses upon checkout.

GoCardless Information:

​

Gocardless 0% finance is available as a payment option for courses of £400 or more.

 

You can choose to split the payments over a maximum of 12 months* with our direct debit payment plans.

• GOLD: SPLIT OVER 6 MONTHS (*available on purchases of £400 or more)

• PLATINUM: SPLIT OVER 6-12 MONTHS (*available on purchases of £850 or more)

THE PROCESS:

 

• Book your chosen course online and pay the initial deposit.

• Email to let us know your preferred Gocardless plan.

• Once we have received this, you'll then receive a set-up email from Gocardless. Follow the instructions, insert your card details and set up the plan. You must ensure you keep up with the agreed monthly payments to avoid fees and legal action.

where is the training academy and how do we get there?

​

All training is completed in our beautiful salon in Carlisle Road.

​

If you are not local we suggest getting the train to Eastbourne. The train station is around a 10-15 minute walk. 

​

If you are driving to us please do not park on Carlisle Road, the time limit here is 2 hours which will not be enough time for your course. We suggest parking for free around the eastbourne college area or outside The Grand Hotel in off season (Oct-Apr). Please ensure you check the signage where you are parking if there are any. Features Beauty takes no responsibility should you receive a parking fine.

What is included in the kits?

​​

Each course is either listed with or without kit. if you choose to include a kit you'll received almost everything you will need to complete the treatment. Each kit is carefully chosen with only the best products in mind, and our favourite must have tools.

​

If you'd still like a kit but would like to cut the cost down, you can email us with information on the course you'd like to attend and what you'd like to exclude from the kit and we can send you a personalised quote. 

​

What are the entry requirements?

​

You must be 16+ years old to book any course.

​

Brow Lamination Beginners - No experience necessary, you'll also gain a qualification in tinting and waxing.

Brow Lamination Advanced - You must hold a qualification in tinting and waxing to qualify for this course.

Lash Lift - Suitable for beginners, no experience necessary.

Brow Lamination and Lash Lift combined course - Suitable for beginners, no experience necessary.

Signature Brows - Suitable for beginners, no experience necessary.

Henna Brows - Suitable for beginners, no experience necessary.

Masterclasses - You must hold a qualification in the chosen treatment to qualify for this.

Will I receive my qualification certificate straight away?

​

At the end of the training day for beginners courses you will receive a certificate of attendance, after this you will be required to complete case studies before gaining your accredited qualification certificate after this you will qualify for insurance.

 

You may also be asked to complete case studies if you are attending an advanced course, this will be at the discretion of Yasmin on the day - if you are not asked to complete case studies at the end of the advanced course you will receive your accredited certificate at the end of the day.

How long will the courses take?

​

All courses are full day courses and at 10am and finish at 4-5:30pm depending on the course. It is advised that you make no arrangements immediately after the course in case we over run.

​

Masterclasses are half day 10am-1pm.

​

Are the courses accredited?

​

Yes, all courses are fully accredited by ABT so after completion you will be recognised by insurance companies.

​

Can I bring my own model?

​

You can either bring your own model, or use a model supplied by Features Beauty Academy. You can let us know your decision within the form you will receive after booking.

​

Do I have to complete anything prior to the course? 

​

If you have enrolled on any beginners courses you will be required to complete a pre-read online. This is to ensure that you have enough practical time on the day. The link to this can be found on your course information email or click here to be taken straight through to to the online pre-read (you must sign up and request access first).

is lunch provided?

​

Yes, we provide a locally sourced light lunch for all full day courses. if you wish to bring your own lunch please let us know prior. any allergies or dietary requirements are requested via email after confirmation. 

​
