After confirming your date, you will receive the terms & conditions via email (please check your junk folders) this MUST be signed and submitted for your booking to be confirmed, unfortunately if this is not submitted within 24 hours of receipt your booking will be released. Once submitted you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of accepting, containing all the necessary information for your course.

 

Please note that if you wish to cancel you can do so within 24 hours of booking by emailing academy@features-beauty.co.uk, after 24 hours all deposits are non-refundable.

 

Any courses that are within 14 days of the booking date will require payment in full. After booking you will receive an email containing the payment link for the remainder of the course which must be paid within 24 hours or your booking will be released.

 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all beauty courses offered by Features Beauty / Academy Ltd, also referred to as ‘The Company’, ‘We, ‘Our’ or ‘Us’ for the purposes of this document.

 

Please complete the form and sign the section at the end of the document to confirm you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Please submit your form to us, we recommend that you email yourself a copy of this form for your own records (option for this at the end).

 

PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

1. All transactions are deemed to be business to business however we do offer the option to cancel the contract within 24 hours of making the booking. 

2. Due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather, road accidents and other force majeure, it may be necessary to cancel, postpone or suspend all or part of any course or workshop. Although every effort will be made to ensure all courses are delivered, in the event that the company is forced to cancel any training, assessment or workshop days, every effort will be made to reschedule at a mutually agreeable time. The Company will not be held responsible for additional expense incurred by students as a result of cancellations for reasons that are beyond Our control. 

3. All deposits are non-refundable after 24 hours (excluding educators course, which is non-refundable after booking). Students are able to move their booking however We require a minimum of 3 weeks' notice for your deposit to be transferred, otherwise another deposit is required. 

4. Any courses that are within 14 days of booking are non-refundable and cannot be moved. 

5. Gocardless: if you choose to split the cost of your payments with our Gocardless option you must ensure that you are able to keep up with the monthly payments. Failure to keep up with your monthly payments will result in legal action and and extra fees.

6. Any remaining balances (unless using Gocardless) are due 14 days prior to the course date, a payment link will be sent out to you, this payment is due within 24 hours or your booking will be cancelled and you will lose your space within the training. Any payments made prior to this are non-refundable. If you wish to rebook a new deposit will be required along with a new date. 

7. Repeated late cancelations or no-shows will be blocked from training with Features Beauty Academy.

8. If you are unable to attend the course for any reason, we will be unable to provide a refund. Failure to attend any course that is booked individually or is included as part of a package will also be forfeited if you fail to attend. The course can be rebooked at the current market rate. 

9. If you are prone to illness, suffer repeated illness or have an on-going medical complaint that may affect your ability to attend a course, you are recommended to take adequate medical insurance to cover any loss. Business insurance should be taken out to cover you should any unforeseen circumstances arise as we are not able to cover your losses. 

10. We will make every effort to accommodate your requirements should you need to reschedule training (as long as we have 3 weeks' notice minimum). Priority will be given to existing confirmed bookings. 

 

COURSES

1. In order to obtain the certification, the trainee must pass all the required course components including any practical assessments. 

2. Completion of the training does not automatically guarantee certification or competence. Trainers may request further case studies. 

3. In a rare incident that you're the only person booked on the chosen date, you may be asked to choose an alternative date however you will be notified at least 2 weeks prior should this happen. 

 

 

MODELS

​

1. Models can be provided for training days free of charge by us or you can bring your own, you will be required to confirm your choice. 

2. If you select to bring your own model and wish to change this you must let us know no later than 3 weeks prior to your course date so we can arrange a model for you. Features Beauty will not take responsibility if you have not let us know that a model is required and you do not bring one on the day. 

3. If your chosen model is unable to attend for whatever reason and your course is in less than 3 weeks it is your responsibility to find a replacement. 

4. If you would like us to supply the model, in a rare instance that our models are not available you may be asked to bring your own (with more than enough notice). 

5. If you are bringing your own model it is your responsibility to ensure that they have had a patch test and completed the necessary forms. A patch testing kit will be sent to you prior and this must be completed at least 48 hours before the course. Unfortunately if this is not completed you will not be able to use this model and will not be able to complete the course. 

6. We will not be held responsible for the non-attendance of models and may, at the discretion of the trainers, take whatever measures are necessary to allow students to complete the course.
